Founded in 2010, our vision was to build a company delivering modern heating and hot water systems, together with smart, energy-saving controls.

Andrew Llewellyn

Andrew is our Managing Director. He has over 15 years’ plumbing and heating experience and prior to this did his apprenticeship with the maintenance team of Bedford Borough Council, winning a national Apprentice of the Year title in the process.

Before starting as a plumber and heating engineer, Andrew was an outstanding international youth rugby player, gaining 4 caps for England in addition to playing for Bedford Blues.

Andrew holds numerous construction and plumbing qualifications, including City & Guilds level 3 plumbing, water regulations, unvented cylinders, energy efficiency, underfloor heating, solar heating, air/ground source heat pumps and asbestos awareness.

In addition to Andrew, Orange Glow Energy has a dedicated team of experienced and skilled subcontractors who provide specialist services in gas and LPG systems (Gas Safe registered), oil systems (OFTEC registered), electrical services (NICEIC registered) and general construction.
